We have a list of 9 MySQL slow queries that we would like a DB specialist to help us lower the query_time and improve the overall performance for. These queries are pretty straight forward and should be easy to optimize for anyone who has extensive experience in writing MySQL queries.
We will provide to you:
1) a list of 9 MySQL slow queries along with query_time, lock_time, rows_sent, rows_examined
2) The current EXPLAIN result for each of the 9 queries
3) The DB structure for the tables involved in the queries, along with any existing indexes
You will provide to us:
1) Suggestions on how to rewrite the query and/or use new/additional indexes to speed up each of the 9 queries
You can see the attachment for a couple of sample slow queries. Please only bid if you are confident that you can complete our requirements.
Payment Method:
(Milestone Optional) A milestone can be created upon your request at the start of the project. The Milestone will only be released when you've provided the suggestions to us, and we have tested that the suggestions have made an improvement to the performance of the 9 queries.
