Paypal IPN Integration

I'd like to add very simple payment to the site. If a user pays a fee their account is activated for one year.

I need a paypal button added there so that they pay after creating their account username and password.
I'd like to use the simple Paypal IPN integration for account activation.
How it works - the user clicks the 'buy now' button. If the user checks out successfully through paypal - paypal sends a notification to a listener on my server. (Paypal provides the basic code for the listener)
The listener on my server would then activate the user account (or add a year's worth of membership.
