BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF THE STOCK MARKET IS A MUST!
TWO PART PROJECT:
First, I need a Joomla Component which acts as a Interactive Charts Graphing engine similar to Yahoo's interactive charts: [url removed, login to view]:symbol=gm;range=1d;charttype=line;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=on;source=undefined in FLASH or AJAX. Taking its stock and markets (u.s. and int'l) info from Yahoo Finance or Marketwatch or [url removed, login to view]
The second part is an interaction with an internal table on the MySQL database where indices/commodities not on yahoo finance and manually entered and stored and assigned a symbol (for example ^DR11)
SPECS:
> Technical Indicators NOT required
> Time Ranges similar to Yahoo's
> Compare to another stock symbol o MySQL database-stored value by symbol (YHOO, ^DJIA, etc.)
> Admin page for adding of new Index, Symbol, Commodity, etc. and section for manual entry of daily values for the new index, symbol or commodity.
> A specific chart (by symbol) could be embedded in Article (600-700px wide) or as a left/right module (250px)
Must be animated, interactive, easy to use.
TERMS: You retain the rights to this but under one condition: You may resell the component only 6 months after the site goes live or January 1, 2010 whichever comes first.
