I need some changes to an existing website. Wordpress website customization job.
Want to add the following features to my wordpress buddypress portfolio website theme:
I want to create member types which users would choose which they belong on registeration. Visitor member type would be assigned subscriber user role while artisan member type would be assigned contributor role on registration. Intend using a plugin for that but It seems the subscriber user role capability is over ridden in the theme functions. My newly registered users are assigned subscriber role but they can still upload media. I want my subscribers to only view, like, comment, change profile pics but cant upload projects (the upload button hidden from their profile) .
Only from contributors will have permission to upload projects. Can this be fixed from your end or is the theme designed for anyone to upload stuffs?
Also, i want to change the location data in the homepage search and user profile? I want to remove the country lists and input my local state lists and the homepage world wide search too.
I want to when a new user selects which member type he or she belongs to, specific locations show. Example: i want the artisan member types to be from state A and B. Then Visitor member type can be from everyother state say A to Z states. So if a user selects member type as Artisan during registration, state A and B shows for location pick. And if he selects visitor, location A to Z states show for selection. Possible?
Also, i want to add social login to the login and registration page.
I also want my users to be able to multiupload images into a portfolio. My competitors already have that feature.
In the contact authour messaging box, can an image upload feature be added in the messenger?
