123176 Website design w/simple DB

I need a website to be used for a sports agency representing basketball players.

A reference website that is something similar to what I want in look and function (but NOT cloned) is:

This project will require a logo design and website design with some basic database functionality.

Here is what is needed:

1) Nice looking, clean home page with a great design and space for a couple photos, introducing the company in general and projecting a positive, organized image

2) a secondary home page for basketball operations, where latest news items can be added to a DB and displayed chronologically (similar to [url removed, login to view])

3) on this secondary home page for basketball, a list of clients by 1) name and then by 2) positions (5 positions) and then by 3) availability, so 7 list links here

4) when clicking on any of the 7 links in part 3, this information from DB is displayed horizontally:

Last name

First name

Position (1, 2, 3, 4, and/or 5)

Height

Nationality

Team

Status

Available (yes or no)

5) In the list above, the last name is hyperlinked to a profile page for each individual player with this info from DB:

Name

Photo

Date of Birth

Height

Weight

Position

Nationality

Profile (1000 characters allowed)

Statistics (in specific format TBD)

Notes (500 characters allowed)

Also, I would like you to consider adding video functionality to the profile page, where a visitor could stream a 5-10 minute video of each player. I don't know how difficult this would be from a programming perspective but I am really interested in having this. Or possibly embedded YouTube clips as alternative?

I like the left-hand navigation structure on this page as well (showing players by position then name).

For interested programmers, I can provide more information about our name, logo requirements, and other details but this is enough info for now.

Basically, I need an attractive functional website where teams looking for our players can find the info they need quickly and logically (with the player info coming from the DB). It doesn't need to be in Flash but HTML with a clean Flash appearance would be nice.

Of course, this project would require a DB and an admin function where I can load the player info and news items into the DB for display on the site as described above.

The project needs to be completed within 4-5 weeks (latest mid-April). We don't have a huge budget here but also we are not looking for a cheap $50 solution either.
