Dear all, I just bought an html editor to have it deployed on a website. This allows for the editing of html content from a browser window. I have nearly completed the deployment of the product, but one featureais still in need of being ironed out. The product offers a popup window to insert an external link, that is a link to a url on the web. This is part of the standard functionality of the product and works fine. It needs no work. The product offers also another popup window to insert an internat link, that is a link to a url pointing to a resource of the website. This makes it possible for the users to insert links to their own web pages by simply choosing in a drop down list the page to be linked to. In effect, it prevents them from having to manually type in a url to the web page. Now, this internal link popup window is almost working. I created it. It can insert a link fine. The thing it cannot yet do it to retrieve the url value of an existing link when updating the url of a link. I thus still need to have a javascript function done to retieve the values of the string url, the string text and the boolean target of the link. This is the assignment.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
The function has to work fine on the IE, Mozilla based browsers like Firefox, and on Windows and Mac OS X and Linux. In fact it just needs to respect the existing cross platform feature of the product. The javascript function that needs to be finished is function checkInternalcheckInternalLink()Link() in the file [url removed, login to view] One must remark that the desired and missing functionality to have implemented in this function already exists in the other function that is used by the external link popup window. So it is just a matter of understanding that code and having the same sort of code fixed in the checkInternalLink() function.
