email and pdf management

We would like to get an application with an online form where users can signup for an account. That account then creates a unique email address in our mailserver. That email address is then used by the user to send pdf files as attachments to the application. The application takes the pdf and converts each page into an image, all text from each page is also exracted and put into MySql along with some info about the image. When this is all done an confirmation email is sent to the user, where they can look at the end result and confirm it.
We have our own design template that programmers will have to work with to put the form and to show users the end result.
Our company would like to have our catalouges online so people can search in them and get each pages as an result. Attached files are exemples of an website that does similar things with their catalouges.
We are running an CentOs 5 server with PHP 5.
