AJAX / jQuery webpage to monitor updated data on MySQL table.

Hi!,
I need a quite "quick and simple" web page (accesed usually from localhost) to monitor rows changed at my local MySQL database.
The DB contains just 1 table with 200 rows:
Sensor_Name (CHAR(4) (primary key), values from "S001" to "S200")
Sensor_Last_State (VARCHAR(5), values "RED", "BLUE", "GREEN")
Sensor_Last_State_DateTime (DATETIME)
(There is a program that updates the "State" value of every "Sensor" in the database every 5 to 10 minutes time, updating also the "DateTime").
The project consists in writing a webpage (just one page) that:
- presents a simple table with 200 cells (20 columns x 10 rows), named from S001 to S200, showing inside every cell the 3 values (Sensor_Name, Sensor_Last_State, Sensor_Last_State_DateTime)
- this web page will autorefresh the info every 5 seconds, polling the DB and asking for the 200 rows data. It's important to avoid refreshing the whole page, only the iframe/div where the table is (please use ajax/jquery)
- every cell's background color will change with the value shown in "Sensor_Last_State". When one row changes will be pure RED (#FF0000), BLUE (#0000FF or better CYAN #00FFFF) or GREEN (#00FF00), and with every refresh will progressively fadeing into white until the next change (for example in 10 minutes time will be completely white if there is no change in that database row)
Please feel free to ask anything.
Thank you!
