Ecommerce & Information Website Coding & Implementation
$250-750 USD
Paid on delivery
We are an Herbal Products Company looking for relatively fast turn around to code and implement a designed ecommerce and informational site. The Budget is $450.
Our design has been painstakingly detailed by our staff to create every feature we want. We do not want a few key features of our site plugged into a template; we want to make the design of our site LIVE, and identical to the mock-ups.
We have consulted with a coder who suggested our needs (to organize articles &blogs & convert customers) require a WordPress Layout with a shopping cart plug-in.
There are about 30 unique page layouts, including the home page, product landing page, article landing page, etc, that will need to be created, but there are HUNDREDS of smaller pages for each individual product, ingredient, article, etc. We want to create templates for these (that we have already designed), and simply insert relevant info/pics for each individual ingredient page on the back-end.
We have a semi-complex shopping cart with a auto-ship feature and a summary of what has been imput each step of the check-out process. We also have a store locator page with corresponding google map app, an account login system with order history.
All content must be SEO compatible, aka, no text inside frames, etc. A lot of our content is dynamic and we want to implement a variable width to accomodate wider screens.
We want the pages to load quickly, and to have user functionality be the highest priority. We have outlined detailed wireframes with notes for the function of each link/box/etc. The second priority is the back-end. It must be simple and instinctual to add/alter content on the site. The font/size should be auto, fast upload, etc.
The site must support:
IE 8.0
IE 7.0
IE 6.0
Firefox 3.6
Firefox 3.0
Safari 41
Other. Details: Chrome 4.0, Chrome 4.1, Chrome 5.0
We have a server at a 3rd party hosting company.
The name of the hosting company is: Network Solutions
The server's shared/dedicated status is: Shared with other people.
We require the worker to query our hosting company in advance, to ensure that they support all components which the worker uses in the final solution (including supporting the anticipated version #s, allowing components to run under their potentially restricted security model, etc.)
The worker is responsible for creating their own development and/or qc environment; the worker will not develop 'live' on the server. The worker will perform the physical installation, and will be given all necessary permissions to do so.
We want someone who speaks fluent English and who can deliver a fast turn-around time. We want to test the entire site and check for bugs and to be able to have the issues fixed promptly. In the future, if the site crashes, or we need assistance, we would like to contact the same coder, but want to walk away from this interaction with a fully functioning site.
We have a few other web sites in development and would like to develop a relationship with the coder we choose so we can work on other projects together.
We are very excited about the project - these products are impeccably sourced and formulated and our quality standards are the best I've seen!
Thank you.
