integrate shopping cart on online store

I need a simple website with a shopping cart. At the end of shopping the user should be able to send the form with the content of the cart to my email address when they choose to pay by cash or use paypal to pay online there and then. I have downloaded a shopping cart (from: [login to view URL]) which allows you to add products via admin sites etc., however, I don't know how to deal with php code and how i get it working with mySQL database.
The website is supposed to be dealing with baby and mother care products as well as general t-shirts and other clothes for adults, too. The point is, the design is to be simple and there should be admin pages for a non-IT person to be able to add/modify products, price, description, upload thumbnail/pics etc.
What I need is a working set up that i can simply upload to the server. The design should be simple, may be similar to for example bodyshop.co.uk.
I should be able to add categories that show on the main page, create/amend/delete subcategories etc.
