The Plugin
The interface needs to be really simple, I want it to have:
1. Search box that they put the URL in they want to search for backlinks point too.
2. Google user name and password
3. Email address
4. Submit button
5. Save Button
1. The URL search box will have a button next to it that it (search) and after they put the URL in they will hit the search button. It will then load all the backlink down the page with 3 radio buttons. One will be for just the page the backlink is and the other will be the URL. If they choose the URL, all other backlinks in the list will disappear as they will not be needed. and the third one incase they make a mistake and want to keep that link. The user will click one of these radio button if they would like that page or URL added to the Google Disavow file that needs to be produced. If they want to keep a backlink they do nothing or click the third one to clear their choice if they have clicked one of the others by mistake..
2. Google User Name and Password. This is needed to login into their Webmaster tools account.
3. Email address is needed as will be sending them a copy of the file.
4. Submit Button. This will put it all together and go through the process needed to submit to Google without the client seeing anything more than a progress bar (needs to be hidden from the user while going through the process).
5. Save button. There can be thousands of backlinks pointed to a site and the client might want to do this over time instead of in one go so all their work will need to be saved.
This will be part of a membership site so all the information will need to stay in a database for retrieval purposes if the client wants to recall any information that is their's. The only thing that we are not keeping is there Google username and password, they will need to enter that everytime they want to use this service.
I am happy to use other people backlink service websites to get the data or can be built from scratch.
I think I have covered everything and please ask anything you need to know. I also need to know EXACTLY how long it would take to make this operational and please ask if you are unsure about anything.
