debugging oscommerce shop

Have some problems with my oscommerce shop. Get several different error messages as:
Deprecated: Function split() is deprecated in /home/freshxep/public_html/shop/includes/functions/[url removed, login to view] on line 1056
these messages appear when adding products to the shopping cart, creating new user, trying to get to payment site and a few more.
Need someone who can fix these errors and make sure the site runs perfectly. I guess this isn't to hard to fix, but do not have the knowledge to do it myself.

This project is more intense that what it seems on the front side. The root of the issue is that your php version that your provider has installed in not compatible. Please see pm for different remedies. Thanks Sh More
