I will explain futher so it is very clear also i will attach the sql script and the table concerned is named CHECKINOUT.
The controller is time and attendance with a checkin button and a checkout button, when checkin is pressed it sends to table CHECKINOUT
if the value is 0 the the trigger will send to table named EVENTTIME and the datetime will be inserted into a col name timein (this bit i can do) where i have the problem is when the checkout button is presed the value for direction in col CHECKTYPE is 1.
However for this insert you will have to find the userid i.e user 1 last checkin and put into same row but into col timeout.
KEEP IN MIND a user may press the checkin button twice before pressing the checkout so either if this happens the second checkin received is to be ignored.
