Oracle -- small SYNTAX error
$30-250 USD
Paid on delivery
I am calling my Oracle MWR_CREATE.WO_PROC from a Microsoft SQL database table "INSERT TRIGGER", but only SELECT works.
Create whatever code is needed so below "Test #3" Oracle MWR_CREATE.WO_PROC runs inside my Microsoft SQL database table "INSERT TRIGGER",
I included links below and think this is a small SYNTAX issue.
I can post the TRIGGER/etc if you need it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Test #1 --> run below via Oracle SQL developer --> WORKS
BEGIN MWR_CREATE.WO_PROC('100025370'); END;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Test #2 --> run below inside of a Microsoft SQL table trigger --> WORKS
(SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY(OracleLinkedServerName,'Select DBOwner.Supplier_API.Get_Vendor_name(''CONOP'') from dual'))
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Test #3 --> run below inside of a Microsoft SQL table trigger --> FAILS
(SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY(OracleLinkedServerName,'BEGIN DBOwner.MWR_CREATE.WO_PROC(''100025370''); END;'))
OLE DB provider "[login to view URL]" for linked server "..." indicates that either the object has no columns or the current user does not have permissions on that object.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I tried lots of SYNTAX suggestions below, but would like some WORKING examples.
