Project task is produce VBA code in Excel (Excel 2003 /XP environment) to analyse data from workbook held in same directory (workbook is dynamic - extra rows of data frequently appended - columns stay same).
For each classification of a filter criteria in a column(as that shown using standard autofilter drop down selection for a column - filter criteria dynamic and to be extracted from source file) a new worksheet is to be created in the code source workbook (not the source data file). This worksheet will provide the analysis of data from source file.
The analysis will take the form of:
2 charts :( 1 clustered column for number of entries per week (period = time of 1st entry to time of last entry - to be shown in wk numbers) and 1 line-column on 2 axes for pareto of given criteria against accumulative %,
2 tables , 1 table with 5 results showing number of entries meeting fixed criteria (entry = "major" "minor" , over 1 month old etc). 1 table identifying who raised issues and number of issues raised per person (names to be extracted from data file)
The last part of the analysis would be to list all data entries that meet certain criteria..list all entries that meet condition ABC, then underneath allentries that meet DEF, the underneath all entries that meet TUV, then finally underneath all entries that meet XYZ conditions.
