need a small business website based. The website sells tours in Maui Hawaii. We are a watersports tour operartor. Kayak & Snorkel Tours, Surfing, Stand Up Paddling, SCUBA, Windsurfing, Kiteboarding, and Hiking currently.

Maybe a home page pretty with photos and sales copy illustrating the beauty of the island and the basics on our [url removed, login to view] so after they read the main sales copy they want to dig into what they can do on the island.
It will sell tours and activities. Visitors come to the site and know little. They do not know whats on the island, or where anything is. We want to the website to be as informative as possible. What, where, when, etc. all need to be communicated to them in the easiest way possible.
want the site to be based on maps and activities. visitors will see a list of available activities, and a coinciding map with the location. the activities need to be filterable and sort-able by fields such as location, days available, price, etc. when they choose, the icons will show in the map and a balloon will show the details of the particular area / tour with a small picture, and details of the tour, if possible, the list of activities would then also have a list of specific tours available under that activity

this needs to be easy to use for the visitor and pref. in wordpress for ease of editing
guests will be able to make a reservation on this site as well so need a reservation page (data collection)
needs to be very visual, fun and easy to navigate.

i would like to be able to do the inputs of the basic information on the activities and tours.
this is a dynamic site when visitor clicks on a specific activity, map updates with those locations that activity is available. activities are non exlusive so guests can choose which activities to show.
number of activities 6-10, and the number of specific tours available under each activity is no more than 14
example. activity = kayak & snorkel tours, tour options under this activitiy is tour1, tour2, tour 3.etc. there may be more than one tour in a specific location (ie. a short tour, a long tour, and ) as well there may be more than 1 activity offered at each location.
The site will take a reservation, send out email confirmation
and the guest can request a print friendly version of a "fact sheet" be emailed to them so they can take with them.
would be great if the site had ability to text message / email re confirmation of tour with url providing directions 2 days before tour (not necessary but would be a great help)

You need to be patient, understand english, and open to working with me. Have had freelancers in the past who were closed to any ideas but their own. Did not enjoy and frustrating.
