ROR/Angular Dropdown Menu Issue on Touch Screen

We have a ROR/Angular site that runs on a large touch screen tv. The there is a thin client that has Ubuntu and firefox running on it to interact with the rails site. We're using the firefox extension grab and drag. For some reason on the touch screen the drop down menus don't work. You press on them, they quickly open a blank box and close. It works no prob with a mouse.

Need help solving.
