Job Description:
I need a web-based system written that will collect data from public records websites. Initially, this will only be necessary for gathering data from the county clerks' offices in the State of Florida.
All programming must be done in ASP.net and/or C#.net, since those are the only languages I really know and if I need to modify something, I must be able to do so.
Essentially, these sites report tabulated data which needs to be collected and input into either a database (which would need created) or a spreadsheet/CSV file which could be imported into a database.
For the first stage, I need to be able to pull all the mortgage foreclosure cases from the following website: [url removed, login to view]
It will likely ask you for a login to get to the above page, but you just click the "guest login" section.
You will see a screen like the one in attachment Req1.png. On this screen, I need to gather the data on a rolling basis from the bottom entry section. I need to be able to specify a start date, end date, and choose the case type "Mortgage Foreclosure" in the dropdown box.
After submitting, you get a screen like the one in attachment Req2.png. This screen would be fine, except that it limits the results to 99 per page. Currently, there are over 1,000 cases per month, so going through these for the past year is problematic at best. However, this is the data I need, along with all the links.
You will notice a querystring such as the one in attachment [url removed, login to view] and I have attempted modifying this as well as manipulating the form request in the HTML and have not been able to get the system to supply me with a list longer than 99 records.
Ideally, the end product would allow me to supply start & end dates and produce a spreadsheet (or webpage that could copy into a spreadsheet) with the following fields:
Docket Link
People Link
Plaintiff
Case
Action
Date
Defendant
Section
Comm?
In the last field, "Comm?" I would like to be able to put a yes/no indicator whether the defendant has LLC/Corp/Corporation, etc in the name. I would like the list of likely corporate entity names to be easily modified as we run across new ones.
I also need to be able to run this report regularly, so if there is a way to automate the process and have it email me the spreadsheet, even better. (for instance, if it ran every morning at 8a and emailed me the results for the previous day)
Also, this is only one county. I am looking to do this same process with many counties so if I find a good provider, there will be more work going forward.
