The leaflet is to be aimed at homeowners with:
Non condesing boilers
No heating method at all
Electric heating (Storage heaters or Warm air)
Backed by a Government grant (ECO4 Energy Grant) with a view to replace existing heating set up with a new energy efficient Boiler or Air Source Heat pump.
This is essentially a free boiler/heating system for the consumer. They will require a free no obligation survey upon application. The aim is to increase the efficiency of homes in the UK and reduce the carbon footprint.
As the Government provide a grant there is minimum criteria that must be met to qualify. One of the following is required:
Under 31K household earnings
Claiming Benefits
Health issues ie Respiratory problems or limited mobility issues.
The grant also covers the following products:
Cavity wall insulation
loft insulation
Solar panels
