Excel Formula Needed

I need to build an excel formula that links to files in another folder. The issue I'm having is that when I update the link daily and go from one folder to another, the files have similar names but don't match exactly. The files always start with the same 3-4 letters which is why I think this may work. Example of what happens when I update the links is below:
Folder is updated from 5/10 to 5/11
excel files in the folder update as well. If the name of each file stayed the same from 5/10 to 5/11 there would be no issue. However the file names change from "BAR-0561651" to "BAR2165165"
Is there any way to make a formula that just pulls data in the link based on the first 3 letters of the file?
