We need to re-design a website for a series of training courses around ‘StoryTelling’ and ‘Creative Thinking’ that will be run over a two-week period in late February. The website is expected to do two things –
1. Present the visitor with information on the two different types of training workshops which are being offered; and
2. Provide visitors with an easy way of registering and allowing them different options for paying the course fee.
The design must be artful, creative and visually captivating, whilst being simple and fluid in terms of navigation and the presentation of information. The pages to be designed are 6 pages. These will be -
• Home page – (a bit of everything on the site and easy way to get to all the different areas of the site)
• Story Telling (What this is about, who is it for, how much does it cost, when it’s scheduled, and where)
• Creative Thinking (What this is about, who is it for, how much does it cost, when it’s scheduled, and where)
• The Facilitator (Image and small bio about the facilitator who will be running the workshops)
• Registration (allowing users to sign up and register for the course selecting which date they will register for, verifying their email account, and submitting their contact information)
• FAQ (Answers to some of the most common questions we can think of)
The new site will have also social media integrated and allow visitors to share through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.
If you want to be considered for this project you will have submit mocks of the 6 pages and the best designer will then be awarded the project.
Please note that our website is currently hosted on a DNN platform and we would like the revamped website to run on the same platform. So the design will have to be able to work with/on DNN
