Project Description:
I need a bot created to scrape the websites of a handful of Las Vegas hotels promotions. The bot will need to go the promotion listing pages below, and then go to the offer sub-page to scrape the relevant details (see Data Requirements). The information will be stored in a local db (MySQL preferred but open to others) and will trigger an email notifying me when there is a new offer up on one of the websites. The script will be run in a daily cron job. I want the bot to be written on the Python Scrapy framework. Write the words “Las Vegas” in your response if you understand the instructions.

Functional Requirements:
• Must scrape pages in scope for offers and store data in a locally hosted database.
• Email alert if there is a new promotion
• Ability to archive expired promotions
Technical Requirements:
• Python 2.7
• Scrapy Framework
• MySQL version compatible with Python and Linux versions
• Must work on Linux/Ubuntu
Data Requirements:
• Offer name – the name of the offer
• Terms or link to terms – a link or block of text describing the offer terms
• Details – the details of the offer (e.g. $100 resort credit, etc…)
• Book dates - the dates the offer is able to be booked
• Stay dates – the dates the offer is valid for
• Expired – a flag to note if promotion is expired.
