Microsoft Project --- is more in depth than what we need and not really a user (for a basic userbase) friendly. What we need is something similar but that can be easily updated and worked in by users of all skills.
Several people could go into and use the tool;
Enter in projects they are working on
Details of the project, expected completion date, contacts/ project owners, date due, date of original request, constraints, each time they update the project it would keep a running log of project updates with date and timestamps. They could email the project owner the update by the click of a button the update or click not to update the owner. Need to be able to export to excel.
I am sure someone has something similar already built that we could just modify together. I am looking for a low cost solution for a tool to monitor projects.
