Simple CAD drawing needed...

I need a simple CAD drawing done. I need a plastic block, 3"long X 3"wide x 3/4tall. The block needs to be sliced into two pieces right through the 3" x 3" face to make what is essentially, 2 blocks 1.5"wide x 1.5"wide x 3/4"tall. Now here is where I need the help... The two blocks need to be able to open but not seperate from each other. In other words, I need there to be: EITHER... 1.A "hinge" integrated onto one of the sides so the two blocks open and close like a "pac man" videogame character. OR... [url removed, login to view] two blocks need to be able to be pulled apart by 1" or so and pushed back together without them coming apart. For example, there can be two "running rails" that allow the two blocks to slide into an "open" position and into a "closed" position. FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST OTHER SOLUTIONS! The point is, this device will be manufactured from some sort of plastic--I imagine a mold because machining is too expensive so keep in mind that this CAD drawing you create will be given to a manufacturer so make sure that your solution is cheap and easy to manufacture yet sturdy so as not to break easily. If you chose to design a solution like #2 make sure the "running rails" are on the sides of the unit (keep the center free). Thanks!
