Hello and thank you for taking your time with us.
I'm looking for a programmer who can make changes to a Penny Auction Website Script. Experience in building or customizing penny auction scripts and penny auction websites would be a plus. Your experience in this area will make the communication easier and faster.
I have a penny auction website and need some modifications done to it. I'd like it to have new features that I want added features besides what the script has now and working properly.
The script I have running is Ajax Php Penny Auction. You can check out the demo at [[url removed, login to view]][1] so you can decide if you can do it. You can also read the FAQ page on that site to learn more about the script.

## Deliverables
**Here are the modifications I need:**
1. To have the option to run featured auctions. In the back end admin it must have the option to select an auction as featured item. All featured items selected will then be displayed in the front-end larger than the auctions that are not featured auctions. See [[url removed, login to view]][2] to understand what I mean.
**2. Add another type of Auction.**
Add "Buy a Seat" Auctions (with all the timers like the other penny auctions) Instead of calling it a buy a seat auction I will like for these Auctions to be called Premium Auctions. This Auction would require a certain amount of auction participants before it can start. Once the amount of participants required has been filled then the auction can start base on the date and time set up in the admin.
This auction would also require for participants to buy a certain amount of points example minimum of a package of 100 points to be able to participate. I should be able to set packages in the admin.
Also needs to have a Buy Now button for this auction once it reaches a certain amount that I should be able to set in the admin they would be able to Buy Now as long as they have enough points. Required points should also be set from the admin. I want to be able to set it differently so no one will know when it's going to come up and motivates them to continue bidding.
The buy now button must appear in buy a set auction item page but deactivated until the amount reaches to what is set in the admin. Once it reaches the amount that I set in the admin the buy now button will then be activated. The buy now amount I set in the admin will be displayed next to the buy now button the text should say: Buy this property now for $x,xxx!". Once someone clicks on the buy now button the auction needs to come to a paused to make sure bidder can pay for it and to avoid multiple winners.
After buy now confirmation bidder will then have to pay for the item. As far as bidder clicking on the buy now button if they have enough points left to cover the amount each point equals $1 then it would be consider paid and auction end. But if the bidder who click the buy now button doesn't have enough points to cover the amount then he will need to complete paying the auction using the penny auction script's payment system. The difference of how many points if any that they need to paid for is what they will be taken to pay for. Means if the bidder has available points it will be automatically used up and be deducted the buy now amount. The remaining balance will then be paid by the user using the scripts payment system.
When the bidder does not complete the buy now process, the auction will still be on pause and in order for the auction to resume I have to start it in the admin.
The points that are bought for these auctions ( Buy A Seat) if they have any left when auction ends they would be able to use the points for any of the other auctions except for another Buy a Seat Auctions.
The buy a seat auctions item page must look similar to the default auction page, It must show the amount of the seat price, value, and starting date but instead of displaying the amount of seats needed I want it to display a certain text like say for example: "Some Seats Still Available Sign up before they are all sold" and once all seats are sold it should display a text: "All seats are sold!".
I need for this auction to be another auction type that I can run and be able to control all this from the admin and to be able to keep track of all bidders. In other words for it to be synchronize with the tracking system in the admin.
We are looking for a long term relation and want to continue partnership in future to improve this site with adding new improvements. These can potential lead to a long term business. We need people who are trustworthy and can be on time and on schedule that can deliver.
