We need to find an individual developer or web dev company that has existing experience with setting up a larger Holiday Rental website for Holiday Villas. Requirement is for it to look very clean, very European and appealing - we have a long wish list that can be provided and links to sites we would wish to emulate. A principal requirement is for XML Feeds in and out. We need a hierarchy structure where admin has overall control of the site but sub agents can add and edit their own property. Agents own property can also be fed back to a CMS template like Wordpress so they appear to have their own site.
We need live availability calendars for each property and the ability for renters to be able to pay a deposit on line via paypal - we need a back office system to provide a list of administration functions (list will be provided).
We know there are scripts and packages that can be used initially and modified to provide much of the functionality at low cost and save re developing existing facilties. We have a list of ideas and are happy to purchase these separately.
Once the site is in place we need ongoing friendly support to do ongoing modifications, create and test new ideas and to be our working IT partner on an ongoing basis.
Site needs to be initially very SEO friendy and we will need regular input. We have hosted servers, we have many of our own graphics and we are quite web savvy. Although the initial requirement to get an initial site in place is a low cost small project this will grow over the years and we have other URL's and related sites in mind to develop after this one.
