File uploads in Wp-Ecommerce (wordpress plugin)

currently using latest version of wordpress and the wp-ecommerce plugin for a small two item ecom website for print work. i need to be able to have customers be prompted and upload files after payment has been received. file upload must be done through the browser and must be able to accept large files, regardless of server setup.
the uploaded files will need to be attached to each line item on the order, so the sales staff can download inside the wp admin panel. the items on the order can have multiple files per item.
as a failsafe, an email would be generated with a unique link (secured by token or other) that allows the customer to visit a page and attach files to the line items on that order.
core files of wordpress and wp-ecommerce cannot be touched. this must be developed as a plugin.
