Fix XML Feed loader to retrieve images once - reduce bandwidth

Hello. We have a multivendor website and a Feed Loader that import products from different vendor XML feeds under their account in our website via cron. Among other product fields we retrieve also images of vendor products. The images get retrieved every time the feed runs, and not ONLY if they are updated. We need to fix that in order to reduce bandwidth. We need to make it work as desired at test site so that we can fix our production site.
