Software required is effectively a database driven website to hold and manage health and social care training records for Lyndridge care organisation. To include forms for data input and a method of reporting on that data. To be actively used by a small number of administrators that will add and edit data, manage the training information of staff, use reports to monitor training status and use email functions for notification purposes.
Pages:
Calendar – To be used as Home page after login and to show what training is/has been booked through the system. (Must be a Google Calendar for future integration with a related website).
House – Page holds basic information about the care unit (House) and shows current training status of staff in that unit. Requires functions for adding and editing house details and assigning / removing staff from that house. These changes should be done through a form designed for this page that add/Edits data within the database.
Staff – Pages show details about staff and a breakdown of the current training status into tables under separate headings. Requires functions for changing all details. Same as “House” page functions for editing and adding information needs to be done through a form. (See example staff form).
Courses – Page shows all courses that are booked separated by course titles with information about location, time and date etc. Requires functions for editing and adding courses, creating new types of courses and a method of exporting selected information. New information on courses and methods of adding, editing and marking attendance of courses needs to be done through a form similar to “Staff” and “House” pages.
Medication Errors – Primarily a large table that shows a list with staff members that have been allocated medication errors. Requires functions for assigning and removing medication errors from staff members and ability to upload and store documents relating to those errors.
Reports – A purely functional page that is simply a way of filtering information from the database using different criteria as an alternative to many traditional static “Reports”.
Login and Users:
Requires all members of staff to have their own secure login that is created when certain fields in the “Staff form” are filled. System must have different groups of user with different permissions (Admin, View Only, Staff etc).
Attached are suggested page layouts and designs for the software required and more detailed notes on functions / general information.
