Magento theme integration with Amasty Layered Navigation Pro

We have a live Magento website, but we want to use a new theme that we just purchased. The new theme is more elegant, has better design and most importantly - is indeed responsive. We installed the theme on a staging server without hassle, and we removed our previous theme and all its components. The theme works great out of the box, but we have a layered navigation plugin (Amasty Layered Navigation Pro) which needs to be incorporated into the theme. The theme developer actually has instructions for this, as the Amasty extension is quite popular, but the instructions ALMOST work.
What we need is for an experienced developer to follow these instructions but also make the necessary changes to the suggested code so that the integration is properly made, and so that everything works smoothly. As the job is almost done, but not quite, this job is small, but we really need it done so that the website can use both the new theme and the Amasty layered navigation extension. For an experienced developer, it shouldn't take more than 2-4 hours.
