Please do NOT send links for websites you built /generic proposals. We are a software firm. Short-listed candidates will have to take a technical test as we are using the two bug fixes, as a test for a longer-term hire (for multiple projects and on-going support of our portals).

Our Technology stack includes: php, js (jquery, knockout), MySQL, python, LAMP, ajax, json. We have built a few automated portals and have our own AI/Machine Learning division.
TASKS
1) We are using DOM to access data on some websites, searchable from the front-end. One website closed, so we need to switch URL - there will be minor code adjustments. We will provide the original dom files. Extracting data from our DB and inserting values to the DB: all this is coded and working.
Task: "hard code 1 name, search and extract related data from the URL to the terminal/temp file. Put this fix back into the main code and the rest of our code will work.
2) Another URL uses a slightly different method. Data is exported into Excel. There is a bug to fix.
