We have a custom script that is activated by a CRON job everyday. This script accesses a remote server and downloads several XML files (successfully) to a folder. The contents of the XML files are product descriptions, inventory, categories etc. The script then downloads images if new products are found and saves them in the right spot. While my zencart database is being updated by this script, either inserting new products, updating product stock, price etc. the products are no longer activated and stay as 'inactive' in the zencart database. This issue started recently - no changes were made to the code by myself or others. The hosting environment has remained the same.
We need someone with experience on XML and strong understanding of Zencart to help troubleshoot this issue. Please note - we're not looking for a redesign of the code or how it handles the day-to-day import, we're happy with it. Just need someone to troubleshoot this issue so that products are activated once import has been completed.
