MUI React Customization

I am a product designer working with a company to help them update their UI. They use MUI as a React framework and they don't have anyone working there that can customize the React elements to make them look like the design. They have, to date, been using the off the shelf component but I need to them to be styled differently with a unique color scheme and some other customizations.
MUI has detailed documentation which seems to be quite good, but I'm not a developer so am looking to work with one on this project.
I should add that they already have a fully working commercial desktop app - this isn't starting from scratch or reinventing the wheel - just changing the tires.
I have a full Figma document with the new design and I also have the existing JSON files with the current color scheme. What I need is for someone to code the proposed changes so the existing team can just implement the new JSON files and whatever other custom code may be needed.
