Project Outline.

1. The scope of the project is to create the DB whit import export of digital data (LAS,CVS,XL) and create in Python window for manipulating the data in real time. Data curves are selected from the columns with the names and drug and drop in the plot area. The processing python window have the columns names assignable to variable 1,2,3 as many as needed. The output curves are stored in DB by new names and can be plotted.

Existing Python Modules for :

1. Project Create and Open existing.

2. DB,

3. Import LAS Files, and Import XL files and expend the to LAS step.

4. View / Edit the data GUI, need to fix the save Button.

5. Export LAS file.

6. Export CVS file.

Tasks Required for this Project.

The best candidate for the project will be the one how have performed Graphical plot 2D curves in Tkinter python 3 or other equivalent packages in Python as Python(x,y).

Professional looking graphical windows and Drag and Drop in all data and curves functions.

The knowledge of Petrophysics and Scientific data plot in 2D is an asset.

A proven track of experience in similar graphical programs design is MANDATORY.

1. Milestone - Merge 2 Dataset as and put them in the new dataset, Documentation.

2. Milestone - Make message box for extracting the part of data in new DataSet by Depth and by Column Name, Select Depth from XXXX to Depth to XXXX. Make a message box to select the desired Columns by name Using Drag and Drop the column Names from Left GUI in to the New GUI on The right and displaying the curves Digital Data columns Vertical same like in Existing Edit / View GUI. 3. Milestone - Drug and drop Selected Curve for Digital Edit (D&D code widget provided)

4. 2D Curve plot in Tkiner single curve in Depth domain vertically and Value horizontally. Create a track, header at the top with name and scale, and range, see the slides 27 to 33.. Scale and curve attributes stored in Plot Template of this dataset.

5. Milestone - Drug and drop Selected Column of data from Name window on the right to plot aria window. Plot it as in milestone 4. (slide 31, 32) store the plot attributes in plot template.

6. Graphical Plot View in Window. 3-5 curve per track with individual Header and scale, unlimited tracks with different scales types, one scale type per tack. Log or Linear. Documentation.

7. Create a window in Python for manipulating the data in real time. The manipulation code will be in Python and will be typed in the edit window below the Data curves. (Slides 20-24), Data curves are selected from the columns with the names (slide 31, 32) and drug and drop in the plot area. The processing python window have the columns names assignable to variable 1,2,3 as many as needed(slide 21, 22 marked 4.1 Input columns Names from the Curve DB in tree ).

The curve name used in the python loop are in column input in (4.2 Name in The Python code).

The curve type is input in as (4.3 Type, variable, Numeric (value), string),

The units are input in column (4.4 Units).

The Values for the constant parameters are input in (4.5 Value).

The mod Input Output is input in (Mode-input, output).

The description of the curve is input in (Description).

The output curves are stored in DB by new names and can be plotted.

All this parameters are part of LAS data presentation standard.
