Python - Import 10-Q and 10-K Files

Need help with python programming. I've found a module to download the files I need in a .txt format.
Module name: sec-edgar-downloader
I'm most interested in the 10-k and 10-Q files.
My goal is to be able to interact with the code in an excel file. It would work as follows:
1. Enter the ticker symbol into a cell
2. Enter the file type into a cell on the same worksheet
3. Enter the number of files I want to receive
I then want to 10-K and 10-Q forms to be pulled into the excel file in a format I can interact with them.
