Integrate Stripe Connect into Multisite WordPress for WooCommerce.
There are wp plugins that exist such as WC Vendors to turn a WordPress website into a multivendor platform where the website can take a commission for each transaction. However I would like a solution that allows this to work with woocommerce on a multisite.
Ideally, it would need to be a network activated plugin. It would have a settings page in the network admin so I can set up my platform using my own stripe platform client id. I would also be able to set a commission amount in the network and have an override for each subsite to change the commission site by site. Then once my platform is set up in the network it would appear as a payment gateway within woocommerce. I would be able to set the name for this gateway(in network settings). Stripe connect has two ways of connecting the accounts of merchants. Managed and Standalone. The standalone would be suitable to start with. This involves setting up an OAuth flow using the client id of the platform. Once the account is connected it will appear as a payment option on the checkout page of each subsite that is connected. This will ultimately allow the platform to collect a commission for each sale made by the connected accounts.
As an extra, it would be nice to integrate with WP Ultimo (multisite management plugin) To charge a different percentage based on the plan the subsite is on. It would be ideal to set this in the network admin either within this plugin settings or within the plans page from WP Ultimo.
