Simple jQuery Calculate checkbox values for checkboxes that are toggled by row clicks

I'm using this:

$(test).prop("checked", false).trigger("change");;
}
else {
$(test).prop("checked", true).trigger("change");;
}
To toggle checkboxes, I need to calculate the values each time a row is toggled though.
