Create Wallpaper Upload Community

I'm looking to create a clone of the site Unsplash.com. I'd like for our functionality to be nearly identical so please review the site in detail before bidding on this project. Looking to hire two freelancers for this project:
Rails API: This freelancer will be responsible for creating the API used on the backend.
Javascript client: This client will consume the rails API and act as the front-end for the platform. I would prefer if this were Ember, but React / Node would also be acceptable.
We'll be using a couple third-party integrations to make development easier:
IMGIX ([login to view URL]): Imgix will handle all of our image hosting and infrastructure.
Stream ([login to view URL]): A feed aggregation service. Stream will handle allow us to quickly build out social functionality like following, notifications and activity feeds.
