I currently have a small brochure website on WIX ([login to view URL]). The project is to simply implement it on my Wordpress Site (which is hosted on Godaddy), for the purpose of enhancing and optimizing SEO. The only thing that I want added to the new site is the ability for me to post a periodic blog. I want it to remain as simple as possible, while achieving the SEO goal, and plan to maintain it myself after the project is complete - so this needs to be taken into account. I want this to be fixed price, and done within 1 week.
Additional notes - The purpose of this site is:
1. to optimize SEO - so if that means separating content into different pages, and more SEO friendly URL's, that's ok - the site doesn't have to match EXACTLY to the current site - the current site is to be used as a guide and initial content.
2. It is simply a landing page site - my customer target is unsophisticated - They are small, non technical, businesses that are usually experiencing a computer/network problem - what we want is when they go to search online for "Computer Repair" and are directed to our site is to easily be able to identify that we can address computer and network issues, and easily find a way to contact us.....that's it !
Also, I want this wordpress itself to remain as simple as possible, as I said (above) I will maintain it after the work is done - I do not want there to be a ton of plugins making it complex for me to maintain - I want the management to be simple - this is very important to me - I want to simply be able to update content - ie. change a few words, as needed, and add a blog post occasionally.
My expectations are:
1. this is not a lot of work will not take long (though as the business needs change, there may be follow on work)
2. Assuming a template will be use that I will approve the template.
3. I will not be charged for learning, mistakes, and lack of understanding of the project (i.e. ask if something is unclear)
