Updating the child theme with new version with is customized randomly. New version is available seprately . Features to be checked one by one after upgrade

I have a project for only expret developers that knows well how to modify child themes to latest version ( we will provide that) . Current child theme has modifications and need to have same + new featured to be reflected in the updated theme.
Last time we have created the child theme for [login to view URL] . I am using child theme for all the modifications that I am not sure and mixed up.
The original theme [login to view URL] are now having new features . I got the version v3.8.0 – Sep 19th, 2016 and now v4.1.0 – Apr 25th, 2017 is there.
Can we incoperate the v4.1.0 – Apr 25th, 2017 from [login to view URL] to [login to view URL] (my website) without impacting the current customization.
Please have a study and let me know if you are able to do it properly without impacting my current development of olaxr.com.
Following needs to be done. Updating child theme of Olaxr with the new version available of jobster
1 . installing a test site and make change as per new features available
2 . if everything okay on test site , change the live site and all new features to be operational.
