Design required for 6 laser cut corten steel panels (6 either side) to fit inside an A frame gable that frames the entrance to the home. The front doors in this section are heavy timber and have custom made steel scrollwork in the frames. Design will ideally compliment the doors artwork (pictures attached)
The steel panels will be 1630mm high x 450mm wide, steel will be 3mm thick.
Design - I am considering a rambling rose bush style with rose flowers/leaves etc being included, as if a rose bush is growing across the panels but with a defined pattern. I find a delicate and ornate style of work attractive (rough examples uploaded). I'm open to the design being very ornate, and reflecting the circular/semi circular pattern and curves of the metal scroll work in the front doors. The design will need to fill the panels and have a WOW! factor. I am drawn to flowing patterns and curves such as whats found in laser cut wedding invitations, fancy scroll work etc. but if a designer has an out of the box idea that could also work really well I am happy to consider other ideas.
Function - The design will need to run across the 6 panels and link up for continuity. I'm open to the panels being frameless so the design flows together smoothly, although there will need to be a thin border at the bottom and top of the panels for screws to attach. The panels will be screwed onto the timber beams that are running vertically, ignore the horizontal beams in the picture. Diffuse LED strip lighting will be behind the panels illuminating the design.
The design will also be used on the other 6 panels of the A frame so it is a mirror of itself.
Design will need to be in a vector format.
