I have a lookup table that returns text; either, Red, Blue, Black, Green, Purple, Maroon, or Grey depending on the lookup criteria. They show up in black font color in the destination cell. I need a macro that will run automatically and change the font color to be the same as the text reads. For example, if the lookup table reports Red, into cell C6, then change the font color to red. If the table reports purple, then change the font color to purple, etc. Further I want several other cells (say D23, H12, and K23) to be shaded the same color as the changed text color.
So, if the lookup table reports green to cell C6, the macro would change the word green to a green color, and shade cell D23, H12, K23 to the same green color.
I need the macro and the VBA code to execute same.
