However, I do need to establish a few things you with you. First, HostGator cannot guarantee issues will never happen again. There are a number of factors that we cannot predict nor have control of that can lead to issues with websites loading.

With that said, looking at your server, it appears you have a large number of request to "[login to view URL]" which is overloading the available resources for your VPS. In order to permanently resolve this, you would need to work with a web developer to optimize your content to use less resources. Additionally, even with the load much lower now, there still appear to be issues with the website loading. This seems to be something wrong with the code for the primary site, as other things are loading fine. HostGator does not and cannot offer assistance with web development, so I recommend contacting your developer.

I did find that a large number of requests to your site "[login to view URL]" were coming from the IP address "[login to view URL]". As such, I blocked this IP in your server firewall. After doing so, load on the server seems more stable. However, blocking an IP does not guarantee a malicious user cannot start spamming requests to your site from a new IP address. The better approach is to work on optimizing your site to better handle requests and useless resources so that it does not overload available CPU/memory. In addition to this, your current VPS package is a very low resource package. It only has 2 GBs of memory, which is quite low. Therefore, you may need to consider a higher VPS package or a dedicated server if your web developer determines you need more resources for your site.

Again, the issue here is your high volume traffic to your site "[login to view URL]". HostGator cannot guarantee things like this won't happen, nor can we assist with making sure your site runs more efficiently. We can offer some assistance with server side configuration for services like Apache (if needed). However, there is no indication of that needing to be done. Rather, you need to look into optimizing the web content itself with a developer. Outside of this, I recommend consider a dedicated hosting server that may be more suited to your needs for your specific web content.
