Contest Brief

Requirements:
* You need to create HTML page from simple PSD design.
* You are not allowed to use table tag at all (only div tags).
* Text data must be logically spread between h1-h3, p, ul and other tags.
* The page width could be min 790 and max 1010 pixels.
* Left side menu has fixed width 230 pixels, right side column - 50 pixels.
* All table's columns should have % width.
* Scroll bar's elevator should have 'position:absolute'.
* The table must have 'position:relative' and its rows 'position:absolute'.
* The page must be displayed correctly in: Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari.
* I need IE6 support with exception of transparent PNG files.
* All textual data must remain textual (including title)

Instructions:
* You do NOT create any JS code, only HTML!
* The zip archive's password is written on screenshot.
* The winner will get another project for 3 pages!

HOW TO SUBMIT HTML:
* Please submit screen shot of partial HTML code.
* Upload zip with HTML to file hosting (rapidshare.com, letitbit.net, etc).
* Submit link to your HTML via message or clarification board.

P.S. I personally created that HTML page, this is just a test. I need HTML developer for other ongoing projects.

#18 Your HTML code is good but your CSS has issues even with IE7. As for IE6, I guess you have not even checked it: http://screencast.com/t/gw3T5SH4Whax If you are ready to fix those bugs then I can select you as a winner.

  You cannot, with table this work could be done in 30 min (no doubt) with including IE5 support

  As for compatibility, I personally have latest version of all 5 browsers installed on my PC. As for IE6 - I use virtual machine with Windows XP but you may try to find portable IE6. I can share IE7 portable but I do not have IE6.

  One example: bar.png why do you have 3 pixel wide transparent margin?

#10 Too many elements are converted to PNG images (which can be done with CSS). There are unnecessary space around them. You have not implemented this: * The page width could be min 790 and max 1010 pixels.

#12 At least someone did HTML correctly. As I can see your page have no issues in latest versions Chrome, Firefox, Safari and IE. I have not tested with Opera yet. We have issues with IE6, did you tested page it on your end? Do you want me to send you a screen shot?

it looks like the attached PSD is not the same on the above requirement. for example on the left column it should be fixed in 230px but on the actual PSD its only 217px. that means we still need to adjust the background image, same in the right column.
and the center is much wider, the image on the top and bottom needs to be adjusted as well

#7 Your version has issues under IE6: two orange arrows for horizontal divider line is not in place. The background gradient for menu is wrong. You have not fixed the IE6 issue with min-width (it does not support it).

#6 I need sources, please upload. I added font files to project.
1) Use 'Century Gothic' font for all text
2) Reduce space between menu elements
3) Add left and bottom margin to menu
4) You are missing top border for 'Server Stats'
5) Your scroll bar is not correct, check source design
6) I uploaded animated 'loading' gif
7) The scroll bar's elevator should remain same size
8) 'Download' and 'Recheck' buttons look different
9) There is missing shadow in menu and right column
