Contest Brief

I am looking for a skilled graphic designer to create a modern film poster for an action/adventure movie. The poster should incorporate specific elements and themes that I have in mind.

Ideal skills and experience for the job include:
- Proficiency in graphic design software and tools
- Strong understanding of composition and visual storytelling
- Ability to effectively convey the genre and tone of the film through the poster design
- Creativity and an eye for detail

I love the look of the shark one, the way the light and depth is captured. I want the one for the film Welcome to Gibba have the same look...seamless. PLEASE NOTE THE EXAMPLES ARE ROUGH - I WANT A MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL FINISH

It depicts a man, woman and boy crossing a rock bridge over a gorge with the goregous sun behind them.
There is a waterfall on the bottom half, and some native australian wildlife. A poacher is lurking in the shadows.

"Welcome to Gibba" is an enchanting family film that brings together a diverse cast of characters in a story of self-discovery, culture, and unexpected friendship.

Our protagonist, Tim, is a daydreaming 30-something, trapped in the monotonous routine of running his late uncle's sporting goods store in Brisbane. His life is a dull echo of what he once dreamed it could be. However, his world turns upside down when his sister, seeking to shake him out of his lethargy, gifts him an "Adventure of a Lifetime" holiday.

The adventure begins with Tim being whisked away by two eccentric characters, Troy and Troy Also, who end up betraying him, leaving him stranded in the remote Australian outback. It's here that Tim's real journey starts, as he meets Jeri, a clever indigenous boy with his own reasons for wanting to return to Brisbane.

As they journey to the quirky town of Gibba, they find themselves entangled in a local mystery – the theft of the town's treasured opalised dinosaur metatarsal. Tim is mistakenly identified as the thief, and Bree, a passionate local teacher who dreams of restoring Gibba to its former tourist glory, is not amused. As Tim, Bree, and Jeri work together to clear Tim’s name and uncover the real thief, they embark on a hilarious and heartwarming adventure that includes close encounters with wildlife, a band of smugglers, and the discovery of a hidden cave that could be the key to reviving Gibba’s fortunes.
