Our system stacks various features on top of each other.

The attached is our draft of our news feature. The left side will have an internal scroll bar which scrolls down to see more news items. When one comes in focus, the highlight bar on the right will update to show the one in focus.

We aren't worried about the actual news item but would like to perfect everything else.
