Contest Brief

We need contestants to design an original logo that should be graphic, strong, commercial and tells a story. It should have a bold icon and strong simple, clean typography. Avoid cliches and execute with a clean, professional, creative style. Smart and simple. Entries made by Monday 03/01 will have a better chance of winning. Please read below for important details.

NAME: SunPra Insulation

INDUSTRY: installation of insulation products on residential and commercial buildings.
This is a progressive start-up company in Florida that installs high-quality insulation into roofs and walls to help people lower heating and cooling costs and protect their homes. They will work with both homeowners and building contractors.

LOGO QUALITIES: Contemporary, commercial, clean, strong graphic appeal, it must be original (no clip art please)
- It should incorporate storytelling - Protection from the sun and weather, Eco Friendly, bold, dynamic, strong, accessible. The logo can incorporate elements like a roofline, the sun, the elements, house, movement.
Layout: We would like to explore 2 layout options. 1) an independent icon with type treatment and/or
2) incorporate an icon or design element into the logotype to create an original logo.

COLOR: Preferred colors are: the Yellow/orange family, Bright , light Green yellow-green, The blue family.

TYPOGRAPHY: Bold Professional type, Sans serif or serif fonts, NO script or ornamental fonts.

The final logo will be selected based on originality, storytelling, and useability. It must be suitable for both print and digital reproduction. The winning logo will need to be delivered as an editable vector Adobe Illustrator file (no photoshop please). Have fun.
