Contest Brief

Hello there!

Thanks for your interest; here are a few guidelines:

- UPDATE: We need a logo design for "Level Up Music School." The school is located in Toronto, so you may include Toronto in the logo if you feel/think it's appropriate and helps your creativity, but this is neither mandatory nor necessary.

- The target audience is primarily parents of kids and secondary adults. So it shouldn't scream ONLY FOR KIDS, or else it might deter adult prospects from considering contacting us.

- We will need 2 different versions of the same logo for different contexts. For instance:
One is colourful and bright (that can be used on the website), and the other is minimalist.
The minimalist version should have a coloured version, a black version and a white version.

- Files:
We will need png, jpg, ai, SVG and pdf versions

- Branding:
It should portray elegance and the top-notch quality of our services and inspire happiness, optimism and hope.

- Our Mission:
Music has changed and saved our lives. We aim to change people's lives through music and share the gift of music with as many people as possible.
We want music lessons to be fun and safe places for kids and adults to express themselves and meet like-minded people they can connect with and share this passion.
That is what Uplift Music Academy is about.

Don'ts:
- Please do not use the treble or bass clef AS IS, as these are overused in musical logos. You may use them in a creative way.
- Also exclude the use of musical notes unless it fits in. If you end up using it, please do not use it as the main element inside the logo.

Do's:
- Make sure it's not too long as in portrait or landscape, but rather as close as possible to a square.
