Contest Brief

We're an established quilt shop (3+ years) that wants to rebrand our logo to something more colorful and exciting. The word "Palmetto" in our name is derived from both our state motto (the Palmetto State) and more specifically, the palmetto tree. The picture (attached) is a quilt block of a tree made up of geometric shapes that form a palmetto tree. I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS PICTURE - IT'S FOR ILLUSTRATION ONLY! I'd love something that uses the same concept. Also, I'm including our current logo for reference. The logo should reference our full name - Palmetto Stitches and Quilts and fit inside a square or small rectangle (in other words - I don't want a overly long logo to capture the full name - I'd rather see the words stacked.) Bright colors please! Hit me with ideas! Deliverable should be an ORIGINAL logo, along with the source files (.AI, EPS, transparent PNG and PDF.) Thanks!

The business name is NOT “Palmetto”… it’s “Palmetto Stitches and Quilts”. I’d also like to see the quilt block concept I uploaded utilized if possible (but again, I don’t own rights to that specific block.)
