Carpooling App App brings user to a driver. Driver commutes to work everyday but has empty seats. He offers rides from 2 points along the drive to his work for a user or driver created price. Both the user and driver have the ability to create the price and time. App charges $x on any ride under $y and adds 10 percent for anything over. Suggests $3x is the price. Notes: Github is full of these kind of apps but they need a few tweaks to the above details.

When my brother wanted to carpool to work or to visit his then girlfriend, he checked out several options but most fell short of meeting his needs. Others were just bad experiences. That's when we knew that something needed fixing. Fast forward to a year and a half later, we have a stellar team of 4 working towards building a carpooling solution. Im creating an application about carpooling service. Im using firebase as my database. The application is let the user who want to be driver to add a carpool post to a passenger page (the user should be able to delete or edit the post). Then, other users can look for post at the passenger page and click into the post. I want to make a destination filter on the passenger page so that the user can search for post easily. Inside the post, user should be able to click on a button and show he/she is interested to the carpool and automatically book a seat of the carpool.
